The incumbent serves as a student trainee, employed under the Pathways Program, and performs duties designed to provide orientation to the application of academic theories and basic principles to clerical and administrative work and assignments of the organization. Receives formal and on-the-job training designed to familiarize the incumbent with the organization’s functions and the specialty area. The incumbent of this position provides technical and administrative support to scientists, engineers, or environmental protection specialists involved with implementing and administering agency environmental protection programs.
