This position involves hands-on technical GIS work and support of a growing GIS
consulting company in central Illinois. As a professional geospatial provider our services consist of a
good combination of surveying, mapping, GPS collection, asset management with GIS, and are currently
expanding into the 3D market with indoor mapping & LiDAR data. Primary responsibilities of this
position will include GIS data cleanup, data collection with GPS equipment, layer creation, image
processing, and assisting with a variety of GIS related projects. Opportunities exist for 3D data creation
and working with point clouds as well. Now is your chance to grow and be a part of a winning team.

Requirements:
• Interest in working on geospatial & asset management projects
• Interest in working with GIS software and databases
• Technical skills with computers, mobile devices, drones, or GPS equipment
• Ability to solve problems and learn new hardware & software components
• Travel throughout Illinois including occasional overnight stays
Qualifications:
• Associate Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, GIS or related technical field
• 2-5 years of experience in GIS or geospatial field
• Ability to obtain a GISP certificate within 5 years is a plus
Preferred Experience:
• 2 or more years of GIS experience
• Familiarity with Esri Desktop GIS software and ArcGIS Online
• Creating, editing, publishing, and analyzing data with ArcGIS Pro
• Experience working in local government, engineering, cemeteries, 9-1-1 dispatch, land records,
transportation, or asset management
• Experience with 3D modeling in BIM or CAD software
